UNIGIS@India offers internationally recognised academic qualifications in GIScience and GISystems under the provisions of a joint study programme with the Department for Geoinformatics - Z_GIS, University of Salzburg, Austria.
 
The internationally recognised academic qualifications 'MSc. in Geographical Information Science & Systems' and 'Diploma in Geographical Information Systems' are awarded by the University of Salzburg, Austria (EUROPE).

UNIGIS@India involves highly qualified teachers and GI professionals as internal and external experts. The study programme team consists of regular faculty at the host instituions as well as eminent visiting faculty from various reputable institutions and organisations in Nepal and abroad.
 
An international and inter-institutional board of studies continuously monitors the delivery of the courses and ensures high quality of the study programmes.
